We love snickerdoodle cookies and this is a nice twist on a classic cookie. Adding pumpkin spice instead of cinnamon is pure genius and gives the cookie a fall feel. This pumpkin pie snickerdoodle is slightly crisp on the outside, soft and chewy on the inside. Yum!

1/2 cbutter, softened

1/2 cshortening, I use butter flavor Crisco

1 1/2 csugar

2 largeeggs

3 call-purpose flour

2 tspcream of tartar

1 tspbaking soda

1/2 tspsalt

1 tsppumpkin pie spice (if you don't have this on hand, there couple recipes for it on the site)

1 Tbsppumpkin pie spice, amount depends on how spicy you like it
