A lady I worked with back in the early 80's made and brought these into work. They are the first peanut butter cookies I really liked. Hope you enjoy them too.

Ingredients For peanut butter round ups

1 c

shortening or butter
1 c

white sugar
1 c

brown sugar, firmly packed
1 c

peanut butter
2

eggs
2 c

all purpose flour
1/2 tsp

salt
2 tsp

baking soda
1 c

rolled oats

How To Make peanut butter round ups

Cream together sugars, shortening and peanut butter. Add the eggs

Mix flour, salt, baking soda and oats. Add to creamed mixture.

Form balls with about 1/2 tablespoonful dough. Roll in white sugar. Place on baking sheet and flatten each with a fork in a crisscross pattern.

Bake at 350 approximately 12 minutes.
