Ingredients For old time coconut oatmeal cranraisns cookies

  • 1 c
    brown sugar, firmly packed
  • 1 c
    white sugar (or trivia)
  • 1 c
    butter, unsalted
  • 2
    eggs
  • 1 c
    oatmeal, uncooked
  • 1 c
    coconut flakes
  • 1 c
    chopped pecan (or almonds sliced.)
  • 1 tsp
    baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp
    salt
  • 2 1/4 c
    of all purpose flour( king arthur,or gold medal)
  • 1 tsp
    pure vanilla extrcat

How To Make old time coconut oatmeal cranraisns cookies

    (1) PREHEAT oven to 350*

    MIX sugars,butter ,eggs and vanilla. Mix all dry ingredients together,then ADD to the first mixture.

    ADD oats,coconut and nuts,and cranrains to last mixture.

    ROLL: into balls sized of a walnut,and flatten. BAKE @350* on an ungreased cookie sheet for 8 to 10 minutes.

    TIPS: MAKE SURE NOT TO OVERCOOK IT. ALSO you can make the cookie dough ahead of time and wrap in plastic wrap just roll the dough into a log. and tie the ends together .and freeze it ,until you are ready to bake .
