These are a great treat for after school or for the holidays. This is one of my favorite cookie recipes.

Ingredients

  • 3/4 c
    butter,softened
  • 1 c
    brown sugar, firmly packed
  • 1/2 c
    granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp
    baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp
    baking soda
  • 2 large
    eggs
  • 1 tsp
    vanilla
  • 2 c
    all purpose flour
  • 2 c
    any oatmeal ( i use quick cooking or old fashioned)
  • 1 1/2 c
    peanut butter chips

How to Make Oatmeal Peanut Butter Cookies

Step-by-Step

  1. Preheat oven to 375^.
    In a large bowl, beat butter on medium speed. Add brown sugar, sugar, baking powder, and baking soda. Beat until combine. (if more peanut butter taste is desired , add 1/4 cup smooth peanut butter,now).
  2. Beat in eggs and vanilla until mixed well.
    Beat in flour gradually until combined.
    Stir in oats and peanut butter chips by hand mixing well to combine.
    Drop cookie dough by rounded Tablespoon on an ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 8-10 minutes or until golden brown. Remove to cooling racks or paper to cool.
