I really love these coffee-flavored treats. There are a great take-a-long dessert for a picnic or anytime snack with a nice glass of milk on the side.

Ingredients

1 c
vegetable oil
1 c
cold coffee
1 tsp
vanilla extract
3 c
all purpose flour
2 - 2 1/2 c
brown sugar, firmly packed
1 tsp
salt
1 tsp
baking soda
1 c
(6 ounces) semisweet chocolate chips
3/4 c
chopped walnuts

How to Make Mocha Bars

Step-by-Step

  • 1Preheat oven to 375°. Grease 15x10x1" baking pan.
  • 2In large mixing bowl, beat eggs, oil, coffee & vanilla.
  • 3Combine flour, brown sugar, salt, & baking soda.
  • 4Add dry ingredients to coffee mixture; beat until smooth.
  • 5Pour into greased baking pan.
  • 6Sprinkle with chocolate chips and nuts.
  • 7Bake 30-35 minutes or until top spring back when lightly touched.
  • 8Cool completely before cutting.
