Ingredients For minnesota spice cookies

1/2 cbutter or margarine

1/2 cbrown sugar

1egg white

1/2 cwhole wheat flour

3/4 call-purpose flour

1/2 tspbaking powder

1/4 tspbaking soda

1/2 tspcrushed cardamon seeds

1/2 tspcinnamon

1/2 cfinely chopped almonds

1/2 craw sugar

How To Make minnesota spice cookies

1Cream butter and brown sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in the egg white.

2Combine flours, baking powder, soda, cardamon, cinnamon, and almonds in a separate bowl. Stir in the butter/sugar mixture until well blended.

3Shape dough into 1 inch balls and roll in raw sugar. Place on a lightly greased cookie sheet. Press an almond into each ball of dough.

4Bake for 12 to 15 minutes at 350 degrees. Cool cookies slightly and then transfer to a rack to complete cooling.
