Ingredients For malted milk cookies

  • 1 c
    (2 sticks) butter, softened
  • 3/4 c
    granulated sugar
  • 3/4 c
    packed light brown sugar
  • 1 tsp
    baking soda
  • 2
    eggs
  • 2
    squares (1 ounce each) unsweetened chocolate, melted and cooled to room temperature
  • 1 tsp
    vanilla extract
  • 2 1/4 c
    all purpose flour
  • 1/2 c
    malted milk powder
  • 1 c
    chopped malted milk balls

How To Make malted milk cookies

    Preheat oven to 375 F. Beat butter in large bowl with electric mixer at medium speed 30 seconds. Add granulated sugar, brown sugar and baking soda; beat until blended. Add eggs, chocolate and vanilla; beat until well blended. Beat in as much flour as possible with mixer. Using spoon, stir in any remaining flour and malted milk powder. Stir in malted milk balls. Drop dough by rounded teaspoonfuls 2 1/2 inches apart onto ungreased cookie sheets. Bake about 10 minutes or until edges are firm. Cool on cookie sheets 1 minute. Remove cookies to wire racks; cool completely.
