This recipe came from my Great Aunt, Bessie McEndarfer. She lived in a big, old fashioned brick house just down the road from my Mom and Dad in the 1950's.

Aunt Bessie had a big family. She was a great cook and all her kids and grandkids that I know remember and crave these cookies. This recipe makes a BIG batch of cookies which I'm sure Aunt Bessie needed to feed everyone.

I'm posting this recipe in memory of a wonderful lady, Great Aunt Bessie.

Fresh, fruity... and delicious! Just as you'd imagine, these cookies are delightfully light and refreshing. We just love the bright citrus flavor. Test Kitchen Avatar The Test Kitchen

Cream cheese can be used for so much more than just adding a schmear to a toasted bagel. You can’t make a New York-style cheesecake without it. Cream cheese makes macaroni and cheese even creamier. When sweetened, it’s the best frosting. But those aren’t the only ways to cook or bake with cream cheese. Breakfast, […]

We say we avoid it, but secretly we all love greasy food. After a night out enjoying a few drinks or when it’s been a hard day and you just want comfort food, a greasy meal makes everything better. Cheesy pizza… nachos… loaded fries… sometimes you just need to go for it and say calories […]
