easy no chill sugar cookies

These cookies are amazing. Sugar cookies take so long to make when you have to chill them for an hour, then roll them, then cut them. These are ready to bake as soon as the mixing is done. They are delish and will disappear in a flash

Ingredients For easy no chill sugar cookies

  • 2 3/4 c
    all purpose flour
  • 1 tsp
    baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp
    baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp
    salt
  • 1 c
    butter, room temperature
  • 1 cup + 2 Tbsp
    granulated white sugar
  • 2 Tbsp
    light brown sugar
  • 1
    egg
  • 2 tsp
    vanilla extract
  • 1/4 c
    white sugar for rolling the cookie balls

How To Make easy no chill sugar cookies

    Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Get your pans ready, lightly spray with cooking spray or use parchment paper

    Combine flour, baking soda, baking powder and salt in a medium bowl and set aside

    Cream butter and sugars in a large mixing bowl on medium speed until light and fluffy

    Add the egg and mix till combined

    Add the vanilla and mix till combined
  • almost forgot to take a pic of the dough. This is after 2 pans have already baked

    Add dry ingredients slowly until combined. It will be thick and shouldn't be sticky. You may need to use a rubber spatula to bring it all together

    I use a tablespoon and make a ball with the dough. roll it in the extra sugar and place on the cookie sheet

    Bake for 9-11 minutes. They will be puffy, take them out just before they start to brown
