This is a cookie that I picked up somewhere on the internet and my boys swear is the best cookie ever. They eat them just as fast as I can make them. They are a very rich chocolate cookie. Enjoy

Ingredients For death by chocolate cookies

  • 1 c
    rounded full ap flour
  • 1/4 c
    cocoa, unsweetened
  • 1 tsp
    baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp
    salt
  • 8 oz
    semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 2
    eggs
  • 1 tsp
    vanilla butter and nut flavoring
  • 5 Tbsp
    softened butter go gold with butter
  • 3/4 c
    light brown sugar
  • 1/4 c
    sugar
  • 1 c
    dark chocolate chips
  • 1/2 c
    milk chocolate chips
  • 1/2 c
    of more semi sweet chocolate chip

How To Make death by chocolate cookies

    Sift flour, cocoa powder, baking powder and salt in medium bowl and set aside.

    Melt 8 ounces of semi-sweet chocolate chips in microwave until smooth.

    In a small bowl, whisk the eggs and butter and nut flavoring together and set aside. With a mixer beat the butter until smooth and creamy (about 1 min) then beat in sugars.

    Mix in the egg and flavoring until incorporated. Add the chocolate and beat until combined. Add the dry ingredients on low speed. Then fold in the chocolate chips.

    Chill dough for at least 30 min. Preheat oven to 350.

    Scoop out about 2T of dough and roll into ball. Bake for 10 min or until the cookies have just begun to set in the centers--it will still appear soft. They will firm up as they cool.

    Allow cookes to cool on baking sheet for at least 5 min before everybody dives into them. This is the hard part.
