all purpose flour
1 tsp
baking soda
1/4 tsp
1 c
unsalted butter, softened
1 c
granulated sugar
1 c
light brown sugar, packed
2 tsp
vanilla extract
2 large
bars (4 oz. ea.) 60% cacao bittersweet baking chocolate, cut into 1/4- inch chunks
1 c
old fashioned rolled oats

How to Make Dark Chocolate Chunk Cookies


  • 1Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Stir flour with baking soda and salt; set aside.

    In large mixing bowl, beat butter with sugar and brown sugar at medium speed until creamy. Add vanilla and eggs, one at a time. Mix on low speed until incorporated. Gradually blend dry mixture into creamed mixture. Stir in chocolate chunks and rolled oats.
  • 2Drop by tablespoon onto ungreased or parchment paper lined baking sheets. Bake for 9 to 11 minutes or until golden brown.
