One of our local BBQ restaurants sells these cookies. My husband bought a couple the other night and they were so delicious. I didn't know what they were called, so I posted a picture and a description on Facebook and several of my friend's immediately recognized it and gave me their recipes. Here is one friend's version.

Ingredients

  • 1 c
    sugar
  • 1 c
    corn syrup
  • 1/4 c
    margarine
  • 1 c
    peanut butter (you may use smooth or crunchy, depending on your preference)
  • 6 c
    corn flakes

How to Make Cornflake Peanut Butter Cookies

Step-by-Step

  1. Bring sugar and syrup to a boil.
  2. Remove from heat and add margarine and peanut butter.
  3. Mix well and pour over corn flakes.
  4. Stir until coated and spoon onto wax paper and let cool.
