How to Make Cinnamon Clouds Cookies
- 1In medium bowl, combine egg whites with cream of tartar and salt; beat with electric mixer until soft peaks form. Gradually beat in sugar until stiff peaks form.
Fold in cinnamon, vanilla and almond extract. Drop by tablespoonfuls onto greased baking sheet.
- 2Bake at 300 F. for 30 minutes. Turn off heat and leave cookies in oven, with door closed, until cooled. Store in airtight container to retain crispness for up to 1 week.
Stir in 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips, chopped pecans or chopped walnuts if desired.
