Chocolate Chip Yogurt Cookies
1/2 cbrown sugar, firmly packed
1/4 cmargarine, softened
1/2 cvanilla, banana or plain yogurt
11/2 tspvanilla extract
1 3/4 cflour
1 Tbspfreshly ground flaxseed (optional)
1/2 tspbaking soda
1/2 csemi-sweet chocolate chips
How to Make Chocolate Chip Yogurt Cookies
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper or leave sheet ungreased.
- In a large bowl, beat sugar, brown sugar, margarine and shortening until light and fluffy. Blend in yogurt and vanilla.
- In a separate bowl, combine flour, flax, baking soda and salt. Slowly add to sugar mixture until blended. Stir in chocolate chips.
- Drop by spoonfuls onto prepared pan. Bake for 8-12 minutes or until light golden brown.
