Ingredients

  • 1 c
    sugar
  • 1 c
    white chocolate chips, melted and cooled
  • 3/4 c
    butter, softened
  • 1/4 c
    orange juice
  • 1 tsp
    vanilla
  • 1
    egg
  • 3-1/2 c
    flour
  • 1 tsp
    baking powder
  • 1 tsp
    grated orange peel
  • 1/4 tsp
    salt
  • ·
    16 candy orange slices, each cut into thirds

How to Make Candy white chocolate orange cookies

Step-by-Step

  1. In a large bowl, beat sugar, melted chips, and butter with electric mixer on medium speed until creamy.
  2. Beat in orange juice, vanilla and egg. Stir in dry ingredients. Cover and refrigerate 1 hour.
  3. Shape dough into 1 inch balls. Bake at 350 degrees on ungreased cookie sheet for 9 to 12 minutes.
  4. Immediately press orange slice piece into center of each cookie. Cool 2 minutes, then remove from sheet to cool on wire rack.
