I made these cookies a few years ago for our Christmas party. Everyone liked them, and they were so easy to make. I am making these for Christmas this year, and I finally found the recipe again, so I thought I would share it on here.

Ingredients For butter mint cookies

1 cbutter, softened

1/2 cconfectioners' sugar

1 1/2 tsppeppermint extract

1 3/4 call purpose flour

green colored crystal sugar
How To Make butter mint cookies

1In a large bowl, cream butter and confectioners' sugar until light and fluffy.

2Beat in extract.

3Gradually add flour and mix well.

4Roll tablespoonfuls of dough into balls.

5Place 1 inches apart on ungreased baking sheets; flatten with a glass dipped in colored sugar.

6Bake at 350° for 12-14 minutes or until firm.

7Remove to wire racks to cool
