My husband's Great Grandma Theis gave me this recipe when we first got married. There were no directions on the card. I guess she assumed I should know how to mix up a batch of cookies for her grandson!

How To Make brown sugar cookies

1After the ingredients, all she wrote on the card was to drop by teaspoonfuls on cookie sheet & flatten with a damp glass dipped in sugar.

2(What I do is mix them like traditional cookies. Cream the shortening & sugars. Add in the eggs. Then add in the dry ingredients.)
