Ingredients

  • 1 c
    granulated sugar
  • 1 c
    firmly packed light brown sugar
  • 1 c
    shortening
  • 1 c
    peanut butter
  • 3 large
    eggs, lightly beaten
  • 1 c
    all-purpose flour
  • 1 c
    uncooked quick-cooking oats
  • 2 tsp
    baking soda
  • 1 tsp
    baking powder
  • 1 c
    chopped pecans
  • 1 c
    flaked coconut
  • 1 c
    raisins
  • 1 c
    semi-sweet chocolate chips

How to Make 10 cup Cookies

Step-by-Step

  1. Preheat oven to 350.
  2. Combine first 4 ingredients in a large mixing bowl; beat at medium speed with an electric mixer until creamy. Add eggs, beating well.
  3. Combine flour and next 3 ingredients; add to peanut butter mixture, and beat well. Stir in pecans and remaining ingredients. Drop dough by level teaspoonfuls onto lightly greased baking sheets.
  4. Bake at 350 for 10-12 mins. or until golden. Immediately remove to wire racks to cool.
