Ingredients For kid's choice waffled sandwiches

  • 1- 8 count pkg
    refrigerated reduced-fat big flaky biscuits
  • PIZZA SANDWICH (INGREDIENTS FOR ONE)
  • 2 tsp
    pizza sauce
  • 1 thin slice
    deli ham
  • 1 thin slice
    mozzarella cheese, low-fat
  • 1
    basil leaf, rolled and thinly sliced
  • TURKEY CHEDDAR AND PEAR SANDWICH (INGREDIENTS FOR ONE)
  • 1 thin slice
    deli cheddar cheese
  • 1 thin slice
    deli turkey
  • 1 thin slice
    pear
  • CHOCOLATE, BANANA AND STRAWBERRY SANDWICH (INGREDIENTS FOR ONE)
  • 2 tsp
    chocolate hazelnut spread
  • 4 thin slice
    banana
  • 3 thin slice
    strawberries
  • powdered sugar for dusting
  • BERRYLICIOUS SANDWICH (INGREDIENTS FOR ONE)
  • 1 Tbsp
    fresh blueberries
  • 1 tsp
    blueberry jam
  • powdered sugar for dusting

How To Make kid's choice waffled sandwiches

    Heat waffle iron. For any sandwich variety, separate/peel one biscuit into two equal pieces. On a work surface, press or roll each biscuit half into a 4 1/2” round.

    Pizza Sandwich: spread 1 teaspoon pizza sauce over each biscuit half, leaving 1/2” of the outer edge bare. Cut/tear ham and cheese into smaller pieces, so when stacked, no edges stick out beyond pizza sauce. On one biscuit half, layer: half of the cheese, ham, basil and remaining cheese. Place sauce-side of remaining biscuit half over all and pinch edges to seal well. Place in hot waffle iron and cook for 2 minutes or until golden brown; cool slightly before serving.

    Turkey Sandwich: In same manner as above, layer: half of the cheddar, turkey, pear slice and remaining cheese. Cook and cool as directed above.

    Chocolate, Banana and Strawberry Sandwich: In same manner as above, spread 1 teaspoon chocolate hazelnut spread over each biscuit half, leaving edges bare, layering bananas and strawberries over. Cook and cool as directed above, using a small wire strainer to dust with powdered sugar.

    Berrylicious Sandwich: In same manner as above, stir together blueberries with jam and place between biscuit halves. Cook and cool as directed above, using a small wire strainer to dust with powdered sugar. Makes 8 waffled sandwiches.
