Ingredients

  • 1
    sheet frozen pastry (1/2 of 17.3 ounce package), thawed
  • 1 c
    milk
  • 1 pkg
    (4 serving) vanilla pudding
  • 1/2 c
    thawed whipped topping
  • 1
    square semi-sweet baking chocolate, melted

How to Make Cream Puffs

Step-by-Step

  1. Preheat oven to 400.
  2. Unfold pastry on lightly floured surface; roll pastry out to 10-inch square.
  3. Cut into 9 circles with 3-inch cookie cutter or rim of glass.
  4. Place on ungreased baking sheet.
  5. Bake 10 minutes.
  6. Remove to cooling racks; cool completely.
  7. Meanwhile pour milk into large bowl.
  8. Add dry pudding mix.
  9. Beat with whisk 2 minutes or until well blended.
  10. Gently stir in whipped topping.
  11. Cover. Refrigerate 15 minutes.
  12. Cut pastry circles horizontally in half.
  13. Spoon pudding mixture evenly into bottom halves of pastry; cover with tops.
  14. Drizzle with chocolate.
  15. Serve immediately or cover and refrigerate until ready to serve.
