This was my dad's favorite fudge. He has now passed. He would kid he needed some to make him better. I think of him every time I make it :-)

Blue Ribbon Recipe

This is easy to make and super yummy, but timing is very important in this peanut butter fudge recipe. If you go a second longer, the sugar can crystallize and you won't get a creamy texture. It's a decadent treat that's smooth and full of peanut butter flavor.

Ingredients For peanut butter fudge

  • 2 c
    white sugar
  • 1/2 c
    milk
  • 1 heaping tsp
    corn starch
  • dash
    salt
  • 1/2 c
    peanut butter
  • 1 tsp
    vanilla extract

How To Make peanut butter fudge

  • Sugar, milk, and corn starch in a bowl.

    Combine sugar, milk, and corn starch together.
  • Bringing to a rolling boil.

    Cook to a rolling boil. Once it starts boiling, cook for EXACTLY 3 minutes.
  • Stirring in peanut butter and vanilla extract.

    Remove from heat. Stir in peanut butter and vanilla extract.
  • Stirring until completely smooth.

    Stir until completely smooth and starts to get thick in the pan.
  • Mixture poured into a buttered baking dish.

    Pour into a buttered 9" pan (8" for thicker fudge).
  • Fudge cooling in the fridge.

    Put in the fridge to cool.
  • Taking a bite from a piece of Peanut Butter Fudge.

    Once cooled, cut into squares, and ENJOY! Extra fudge put in a container.
