My mother is in an assisted living facility and I am always looking for fun, easy ideas for them to do on their craft days. I thought this was adorable. Place a bunch in a candy dish, and they look just like the old-fashioned Christmas bulbs. =) Other recipes show using light corn syrup to attach the two pieces, although I have never tried doing it this way.   • almond m&m's, in assorted colors
  • ike & mike candies (green used in picture)
  • candle lighter
  • small, sharp paring knife

How To Make almond m & m christmas lights

    Using a sharp, small knife, heat the blade with a hand-held, long-handled candle lighter. Cut Ike & Mike candy in half. Immediately, stick the cut end onto the wide end of the almond candy. That's it! Make as many as you'd like. Fill a glass bowl or give in a mason jar as gifts.
