Vanilla Pound Cake

How to Make Vanilla Pound Cake
- Cream the butter and sugar in a large mixing bowl until fluffy. (about 3 to 4 minutes)
Add the eggs, one at a time, with the mixer on low, beating well after each addition.(about 10 to 15 minutes)
Add vanilla and mix well.
Sift the dry ingredients into a small bowl. Add flour, baking soda and salt alternately with sour cream.
Half the flour mixture, sour cream, remaining flour mixture.
Stir gently after each addition.
- Spoon batter into two greased and floured loaf pans or a greased and floured Bundt pan.
Bake at 325 degrees for about 60 minutes.
Cool for 15 minutes on wire rack; then invert onto rack. Allow cake to cool for another hour. Dust with powdered sugar.
