I made this great tasting dessert for a church function. It was such a hit, that I had to make a second one a few days later, because my husband never got to taste it. It is one of his favorite desserts. I adorned the top with maraschino cherries, as a guide for cutting the slices. In the end they were scraping the bowl with plastic spoons, trying to get the last few morsels. I am sure you will love this recipe. This is an impressive dessert sure to please. Of course you do not need to use the cherries, I just wanted it to look more impressive.Recipe from the Editors of Time Life Books.
