Ingredients For strawberries 'n cream trifle

  • 2 loaves
    pound cake, toasted & cut into 1" chunks, divided
  • 2 jar
    strawberry preserves, seedless, divided
  • 1/2 c
    simple syrup, divided
  • 2 - 8 oz pkg
    cream cheese, room temperature, divided
  • 1/2 c
    heavy cream, cold
  • 1 Tbsp
    pure vanilla extract
  • 1/2 c
    sugar
  • 1 - 8 oz pkg
    cool whip free

How To Make strawberries 'n cream trifle

    STRAWBERRY LAYERS: In a medium saucepan, add both jars of preserves & simple syrup; heat to thin out.

    CREAM LAYERS: In a medium bowl, combine cream cheese, vanilla, sugar & heavy cream to thin out.

    ASSEMBLY: In a large trifle bowl, layer 1/2 pound cake, 1/2 strawberry mixture, 1/2 cream mixture. Repeat all again. Layer cool whip evenly over top & refrigerate 3 hours for flavors to marry.
