    chopped honey roasted peanuts
  • 3/4 c
    crushed root beer candies
  • 1
    package german chocolate cake mix
  • 1 c
  • 3
    egg whites
  • 1/3 c
    canola oil
  • 1 c
    creamy peanut butter
  • 2 tsp
    root beer concentrate

    (8 ounce) container frozen whipped topping,thawed
  • 1
    package cream cheese,softened
  • 1
    packet instant vanilla pudding mix
  • 3/4 c
    heavy cream
  • 3/4 c
    chilled root beer

How to Make Root Beer Peanut Butter Cake?


  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  2. Grease a 9x13-inch baking pan with cooking spray.Add chopped peanuts and crushed root beer candies;mix well.
  3. Combine cake mix,water,egg whites,oil,peanut butter and root beer concentrate in a large bowl;beat with an electric mixer on low speed until moistened,about 30 seconds.Beat at medium speed for 2 minutes.
  4. Pour the batter into the prepared pan.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean,for 30 minutes.
  6. To prepare Root Beer Frosting:in a medium bowl,combine whipped topping,cream cheese,vanilla pudding mix,heavy cream and root beer,mix together until smooth.
  7. Spread the frosting onto the cake.Sprinkle with crushed root beer candies.
