Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 c
    flour
  • 2 tsp
    baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp
    salt
  • 1 Tbsp
    plus 1 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
  • 2
    eggs
  • 1 1/4 c
    sugar
  • 1/2 c
    melted butter
  • 15 oz
    can of pumpkin
  • 4 Tbsp
    butter
  • 4 oz
    cream cheese
  • 2 Tbsp
    honey
  • 1/2 c
    confectioners' sugar

How to Make Pumpkin Tea Cake with Honey Cream

Step-by-Step

  1. Whisk flour,baking soda,salt and pumpkin pie spice
  2. In another bowl whisk eggs,sugar,melted butter and pumpkin until blended.
  3. Fold in dry ingredients till blended.
  4. Pour batter into greased 9x5 loaf pan or a square pan Bake one hour at 350 till golden.
  5. For Honey cream: beat butter,cream cheese,honey and confectioners sugar till smooth. Serve on top of slices.
