Peach Preserves and Tart Cherry Mash Potato Cake

Tiffany Bannworth

Want a sweet Southern treat? Try this instead of boring, old coffee cake. Very moist! Delicious with coffee.

Blue Ribbon Recipe

Tiffany is right, this dessert is not a boring coffee cake. It is full of great spices and flavor. We loved the pairing of cherries and peaches. The fruit brings a unique flavor to this moist and delicious cake. When baked, it covered up any resemblance of a swirl on top. But, with a little fresh fruit added to the top, it really makes this cake stand out and look pretty. Serve this at your next gathering and everyone will be very happy.
