Peach Cobbler, The Old "Cuppa" Recipe
1 large can(s)sliced peaches in heavy syrup (i think its a 28 ounce can)
1 cself-rising flour
1 stickbutter, melt half of the stick
1 tspvanilla extract
How to Make Peach Cobbler, The Old "Cuppa" Recipe
- Preheat over to 350* and lightly spray a 7.5 x 11 inch casserole pan or a 9x9 in. square pan.
- In a medium pot add peaches and juice, 1/2 stick butter. Heat till it comes to a boil then remove from heat.
- In a medium bowl add flour, sugar, salt and mix. Now add milk and vanilla and stir to combine. Pour into baking dish then pour hot peach mixture over that. Pour the 1/2 stick melted butter on top. Bake for 10 minutes then I like to sprinkle a couple pinches of sugar on top and return to oven. Bake another 10 minutes then start checking it. It takes 20-30 minutes total, depending on your oven.
