I discovered this recipe in high school and my family loves it! I make it for every holiday or any time we have family get togethers! It does not take very long and it is delicious! :)

Ingredients For oreo cheesecake

  • 1
    pie crust shell
  • 2 pkg
cream cheese, softened (8 oz. packages)
  • 1/2 c
    sugar
  • 1 Tbsp
    vanilla extract
  • 2
    eggs
  • 8
    oreo cookies

How To Make oreo cheesecake

  • 1
Mix cream cheese, vanilla, and sugar with an electric mixer on medium speed until well blended.
  • 2
Add eggs and mix well. On a paper plate, cut oreo cookies in half twice (so you get 4 pieces from each cookie). You can use as many cookies as you want, depending on how many oreos you want in your cheesecake. When you cut the oreos, it will create a lot of crumbs, save those for later. Fold cut cookie pieces into the cheesecake batter.

Pour mixture in pie crust (I always buy the Keebler ready crust with 2 extra servings. They have oreo pie crusts, or you could just use a grahm cracker pie crust). Take oreo crumbs from earlier and sprinkle them over the top of the cheesecake.

Bake for 30 minutes at 350 degrees. Remove from oven. The center should jiggle a little, but it should not look too liquidy if it is done cooking. It might need an additional 5 minutes. Allow cheesecake to cool once it is done cooking. Once it has cooled, chill in refrigerator before serving.
