I tasted something similar to this on some French toast somewhere in Indiana. I loved it and had to try to recreate it myself. We have used this recipe to top pancakes, French toast, stuffed angel food cake, and just out of the pan. It is so good and so simple, you've got to try it!

Blue Ribbon Recipe

For a simple dessert, these maple brown sugar peaches are amazing. They taste like the filling of afresh peach pie with a touch of maple flavor swimming in a buttery, sweet sauce. The sauce is a little thin, but it soaks into whatever you're serving with these baked peaches. We opted for pound cake. But they'll be great over pancakes, French toast, vanilla ice cream, or even all on their own.
