My grand-daughter, Kacie, loves to make pretty things so I figured letting her make a gorgeous trifle with pretty summer fruit would appeal to her creativity, and, I was right because it turned out beautiful! We made the healthy version but whatever ingredients you choose, it always tastes great.

Prepare pudding per package directions, add 2/3's of the container of CoolWhip and stir until blended. Place each type of fruit into their own bowl. Tear up angel food cake into medium size pieces. Put strawberry ice cream topping jar into a pan of hot tap water and stir after a few minutes.

Start layering with pudding first topped with torn cake pieces and fruit. Drizzle strawberry topping over all. Repeat layers making sure you place some pretty fruit so that it shows through the bowl. Your last layer should be pudding mixture with the remaining CoolWhip and then top with a few choice pieces of fruit to make it fit for a royal table. You can drizzle a bit more strawberry syrup on top if you like.
