To make recipes Gluten Free, there is King Arthur Gluten Free flour and Bob's Red Mill Gluten Free Flour. I have seen some comments from people asking about how to adjust recipes to be Gluten Free so, I have posted the following information:
ADJUSTING A RECIPE TO BE GLUTEN FREE, XANTHAN GUM OR GUAR GUM MUST BE ADDED:
THE FOLLOWING CHART IS ON THE BOB'S RED MILL GLUTEN FREE FLOUR:
xanthan gum for cookies
for muffins & quick breads
1 - 1 1/2 tsp
for pizza crusts
How To Make
Use the quantities suggested of Xanthan Gum per cup of flour used. For example, if you are making cookies with 3 cups flour, you should add 3/4 tsp of Xanthan Gum.
