3 stick

of oleo, melted
2 1/2 c

sugar
1 c

buttermilk
3/4 tsp

baking soda
3 c

all purpose flour

Preheat oven at 350*, grease tube pan

Add soda to buttermilk and beat into first three ingredients. Beat well, sift flour several times,add slowly to rest of mix. Bake in tube pan for 1 1/2 hours or until tooth pick inserted comes out clean.
