Another family favorite, I used to make this a lot for my kids too. Creative use of Oreo cookies to make this vanilla pudding based 'cake' look like dirt. This is a kids favorite too I think!

How to Make Dirt Cake

Step-by-Step

  1. Crush cookies in ziploc bag using a rolling pin until 'dirt' consistency.
  2. Mix together cream cheese, pudding mixes, milk, and whipped topping until well blended.
  3. Slowly stir in confectioners sugar.
  4. Alternate layers of cookie crumbs and filling mixture in a 9X13 cake pan, finishing with cookie crumbs on the top. Garnish with gummy worms, candy bugs, or other dirt themed items. Or you can just leave it without the extra garnishes if you prefer.
