Ingredients: 1/3 cup(s) shortening ; soft; 1 cup(s) sugar; 1 - egg; 1 1/2 cup(s) flour; 1 1/2 teaspoon(s) baking powder; 1/2 teaspoon(s) salt; 1/4 teaspoon(s) nutmeg; 1/2 cup(s) milk; 6 tablespoon(s) butter, melted; 1/2 cup(s) sugar; 1 teaspoon(s) cinnamon

These were delicious! The only change I made was to add some nutmeg to the batter and instead of using liners, I baked them, then dipped them in butter and coated with cinnamon and sugar!

How To Make cinnamon & sugar donut muffins

mix together the first 8 ingredients to make the batter.

Fill greased muffin tins 2/3 way full.

Bake @ 350 deg. for 20-30 minutes.

Mean while mix together the remaining cinnamon and sugar.

When muffins are done ; Immediatly roll them in the remaining 6 Tbs. of melted butter and then the cinnamon sugar mixture.
