Ingredients

  • 1/3 c
    shortening ; soft
  • 1 c
    sugar
  • 1
    egg
  • 1 1/2 c
    flour
  • 1 1/2 tsp
    baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp
    salt
  • 1/4 tsp
    nutmeg
  • 1/2 c
    milk
  • 6 Tbsp
    butter, melted
  • 1/2 c
    sugar
  • 1 tsp
    cinnamon

How to Make Cinnamon & Sugar Donut Muffins

Step-by-Step

  1. mix together the first 8 ingredients to make the batter.
  2. Fill greased muffin tins 2/3 way full.
  3. Bake @ 350 deg. for 20-30 minutes.
  4. Mean while mix together the remaining cinnamon and sugar.
  5. When muffins are done ; Immediatly roll them in the remaining 6 Tbs. of melted butter and then the cinnamon sugar mixture.
