Ingredients For chocolate chip date coffee cake

  • STEP ONE:

    dates chopped
  • 1 1/2 c
    boiling water
  • 1 tsp
    baking soda
  • STEP TWO:
  • 2 1/2 c
    butter
  • 1 c
    sugar
  • 2
    eggs
  • 1 tsp
    vinilla
  • 1 1/2 c
    flour
  • 1/2 tsp
    baking soda
  • STEP THREE:
  • 3 1/2 c
    brown sugar
  • 1/2 c
    walnuts
  • 1 c
    chocolate chips

How To Make chocolate chip date coffee cake

    Mix dates, boiling water, and soda together let cool.

    Cream butter and sugar together.

    Add eggs and vanilla.

    Add flour and soda.

    Add the cooled date mixture from step one.

    Pour into greased and floured 9 by 13 pan.

    Sprinkle ingredients in step 3 over top and bake 35 to 40 minutes at 350 degrees
