Ingredients

brown sugar
3 Tbsp
butter
1 3/4 c
scalded milk
3
egg yolks
1/2 c
cold milk
6 Tbsp
flour
1/3 tsp
salt
1/2 c
chopped nuts

How to Make Butterscotch Nut Pudding

Step-by-Step

  • 1Dissolve the brown sugar and butter in the scalded milk

    Combine slightly beaten egg yolks with cold milk; mix with flour and salt.
  • 2Add first milk mixture and nuts.

    Pour in a greased inset pan.
  • 3Cover and steam for 45 minutes.

    Serve with whipped cream.
