This seed cake is a little different from the norm Blueberry cakes ~ with caraway seeds, orange peel, and evaporated milk in it! Nice flavors and blends well with the blueberries.

Ingredients For blueberry seed cake

  • 1 c
    floured blueberries
  • 1 Tbsp
    caraway seeds
  • 3 c
    sifted flour
  • 1 c
    sugar
  • 2 tsp
    baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp
    salt
  • 1 c
    butter
  • 1 lg
    evaporated milk
  • 3
    eggs, beaten
  • 1/2 c
    candied orange peel, chopped

How To Make blueberry seed cake

  • 1
    Sift dry ingredients together. Add butter and blend well. Add eggs, milk, caraway seeds and candied orange. Beat until smooth. Gently fold in floured blueberries. Bake in well-greased 10" tube pan. Bake at 350 degrees about an hour. Cool before slicing.
