  • 1 C. Milk
  • 1 C. Sour cream
  • 1 Egg (beaten)
  • 2 C. Frozen Ground Meat Mix*, thawed

How To Make corn - burger wheels

  • 1
In a small mixing bowl, stir together Hearty Wheat Master Mix*, and 1/2 cup of the milk just until the dough “follows” the fork around the sides of the bowl. On a lightly flour pastry sheet, knead the dough 10 to 12 times. Use a rolling pin to roll dough to a 12 x 8 inch rectangle. Stir egg and 1/2 cup of the sour cream into the thawed Ground Meat Mix* mixture. Spread the meat mixture evenly over the dough. Roll up jelly roll style, beginning at the long side; seal. Cut into eight 1 1/2 inch pinwheels. Arrange in an 8x8inch baking pan. Bake in a 400 F oven for 20 to 25 minutes or until browned. For sauce, in a small saucepan, combine remaining 1/2 cup sour cream and the flour. Add remaining 1/2 cup of milk and the ketchup. Cook and stir until thickened and bubbly. Cook and stir 1 to 2 minutes longer. Stir in corn; heat thoroughly. Serve poured over pinwheels. *Hearty Wheat Master Mix recipe located in this program *Ground Meat Mix recipe located in this program
