Perfect fall breakfast! Not overly sweet but you can add chocolate or maple chips and make it sweeter. These are hearty and will appeal to all pumpkin lovers!

  • 2 c
    all purpose flour
  • 1/4 c
    dark brown sugar
  • 2 tsp
    baking powder
  • 1 tsp
    baking soda
  • 1 Tbsp
    pumpkin pie spice
  • 1/2 tsp
  • 1 c
    canned pumpkin puree
  • 1 1/2 c
    evaporated milk
  • 1
  • 2 Tbsp
    canola oil
  • 2 Tbsp
    apple cider vinegar
  • 1/8 c

How to Make Pumpkin pie pancakes


  1. Combine dry ingredients in a large bowl. Whisk well to avoid clumps.
  2. In a separate bowl, combine wet ingredients except water.
  3. Add wet ingriedients to dry, whisking well to avoid clumps.
  4. Add water to batter and mix well.
  5. Grease a medium- sized skillet and heat on medium.
  6. Add about 1/4 cup of batter. Allow batter to cook until you can easily slide a spatula under the pancake and flip, about 2 minutes.
  7. Cook opposite side 2 minutes or until golden and cooked through.
  8. Drizzle hot pancake with warmed maple syrup.
  9. Enjoy!
