My husband & I went to an ant-inflammatory diet class and I have been finding new ways to enjoy food with as little processed food & sugar as possible. Honey is a surprisingly wonderful substitute for sugar, I might even say it's better!
Dave's Killer Bread or Ezekiel bread are a healthy choice if you are going to eat bread! I use Dave's Good Seed bread.

How to Make Sweet Toast

Step-by-Step

  1. Spread butter on one side of the bread.
  2. Sprinkle just a pinch of ginger on the buttered bread. Ginger is an anti-inflammatory!
  3. Sprinkle cinnamon to your liking to cover the buttered bread.
  4. Lay thinly sliced apple on top of buttered bread.
  5. Pop it in the toaster oven or conventional oven for desired done-ness.
  6. Top with honey, grab your fork and enjoy!
