    cornstarch
  • 1/2 tsp
    baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp
    soda
  • 1/2 tsp
    salt or little less
  • 1 1/2 tsp
    sugar
  • 1 c
    milk or buttermilk
  • 1/3 c
    oil
  • 1
    egg
  • 1 tsp
    vanilla
  • ·
    malt powder to taste

How to Make soda fountain waffles

Step-by-Step

  1. combine the flour,cornstarch, bp, soda, salt and sugar. and the malt if using. add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients. let it rest for 30 minutes. make the waffles.
    i usually add the malt for dinner waffles, not for breakfast.
