Ingredients For pancakes with maple-peanut butter syrup

  • MAPLE-PEANUT BUTTER SYRUP:
  • 3 Tbsp
    peanut butter creamy or crunchy
  • 1 Tbsp
    butter or margarine, softened
  • 1/2 c
    maple-flavored syrup
  • PANCAKES:
  • 2 c
    original bisquick mix
  • 3/4 c
    milk
  • 1/4 c
    maple-flavored syrup
  • 2 lg
    eggs
  • 1/2 c
    real bacon pieces

How To Make pancakes with maple-peanut butter syrup

    Preheat griddle or to 350^ or heat a 12-inch nonstick skillet over medium-low heat. Spray the one you are going to use.

    Sauce: Make this first and keep warm. In a small bowl, beat peanut butter and butter with electric mixer on low speed until smooth. Beat in the syrup until well mixed. Set aside.

    Pancakes: In medium bowl, stir all pancake ingredients except bacon with a wire whisk or fork until blended. Stir in bacon. For each pancake, pour slightly less than 1/4 cup batter onto hot griddle. Cook 2 to 3 minutes or until edges are dry. Turn; cook other sides until golden brown. Serve with the syrup and some bacon pieces on top.
