monkey bread

We always used to make this to watch Wimbledon on tv in Wisconsin. It was a great breakfast meal, easy to share and wonderfully gooey with cinnamon and sugar. I decided to make these in camp. Works wonderfully with river rocks on the bottom of a deep dutch oven to set the bundt pan onto. It keeps the monkey bread from burning! Make sure your DO has enough depth to hold the rocks and bundt pan and put the lid on top!

Note: we have very inexpensive biscuits at Aldi that I used to make this in camp. I used to use Pillsbury, but now that I know these off brand biscuits work so well, this treat is even more reasonable to make more frequently!
