Trolling the internet looking for the meaning of hashmarks(stripes on sleeves of uniform from the service) checking on a photo of my grandfather, and came across this unrelated article and thought I would share it with everyone -because it is such a clever idea. Your kids will love these.

Ingredients For hash browns in the waffle iron

  • 2 lb
    bag of frozen tater tots, or regular hash brown potatoes or shredded type
  • salt , pepper and garlic powder to taste
  • ketchup

How To Make hash browns in the waffle iron

    Spray your waffle iron generously with cooking spray. Place tater tots on waffle iron to cover each section. Close lid ,pressing down slowly.

    After 1 minute, open the iron and add tots to any empty spaces, as needed. Close lid and cook until crispy and golden brown -like waffles.

    Remove from waffle iron. Salt and season lightly. Serve with ketchup, if desired.Enjoy!
