This is a very good recipe for waffles,especially in the winter time.We love it.

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 c
    all purpose flour,unbbleach
  • 1 1/2 c
    baking powder
  • 2 Tbsp
    brown sugar, light
  • 1/4 tsp
    salt
  • 1 tsp
    ginger powder
  • 1/2 tsp
    cinnamon
  • pinch
    clove, ground
  • 1 c
    buttermilk
  • 1/2 c
    milk
  • 1 large
    egg
  • 2 Tbsp
    dark molasses
  • 1/4 c
    butter,melted

How to Make Gingerbread Waffles

Step-by-Step

  1. Stir together the flour,baking powder, sugar,salt and spices.
  2. In another bowl, mix the buttermilk,milk, egg, molasses and melted butter.
  3. Pour the butter mixture to dry ingredients.
  4. Heat the waffle iron.Spray with cooking spray.Cook the waffles until they are golden brown.Serve with maple syrup or apple cider syrup.(I will post the recipe for apple cider syrup soon it is very good)
