How to Make Easy Cran-Apple Butter
- In medium saucepan, combine applesauce and cranberry sauce. Cook over medium heat until cranberry sauce melts.
- Add butter or margarine and spices; blend well. Cool slightly.
- Pour into clean jars or non-metal containers; cover with tight-fitting lids. Store in refrigerator up to 3 weeks.
- MICROWAVE DIRECTIONS:
In 2-quart microwave-safe bowl, place cranberry sauce; beat with fork until smooth. Add applesauce; blend well. Microwave on HIGH for 3 to 4 minutes, beating with fork twice during cooking. Add butter or margarine and spices; stir until butter is melted.
