Creamy Cream Cheese Grits
1/4 tspgranulated garlic powder with parsley
1 tspkosher salt
1/4 tspfreshly ground white pepper
1 cquick cooking grits
4 ozcream cheese, cut into cubes
4 ozcheddar cheese, cut into cubes
How to Make Creamy Cream Cheese Grits
- In a large saucepan over medium-high heat combine, milk, garlic, salt, pepper and Tabasco.
- Heat, stirring slowly and constantly until milk just comes to a boil.
- Add grits and stir to mix. Reduce heat to low, cover and cook until grits are thick and creamy, 5-6 minutes.
- Add cheese and stir until they are completely melted. Serve warm.
