I purchased a Waring Belgian Waffle maker last year after using one at the hotel I cook for. I wanted a real professional kind for home use. I have searched and searched for a good recipe because at the hotel we use commercial mix and it's the best. But finding a recipe to match it wasn't easy. But I did it! It's the fluffiest waffle with just a hint of crispiness on the outside. I am also including my recipe for honeybutter and strawberry sauce to use on the waffle.
Ingredients

·2 cups bisquick

·1 1/3 cup whole milk or buttermilk

·1 egg

·2 tablespoon vegetable oil

STRAWBERRY SAUCE FOR WAFFLE

·1 average bag unsweetended strawberries, sliced

·1 can strawberry pie filling

WHEN STRAWBERRIES ARE ROOM TEMP, MIX WITH FILLING. SWEETEN A LITTLE MORE, IF NECESSARY WITH SUGAR.

HONEY BUTTER FOR WAFFLE

·2 sticks softened butter

·1 8oz. whipped cream cheese

·1/2 to 1 cup honey (to taste)

·1/4 cup brown sugar

STIR EVERYTHING UNTIL SMOOTH
How to Make BEST BELGIAN WAFFLE RECIPE
- In large batter bowl, whisk all batter ingredients until smooth. (I quadruple this recipe for a crowd). Follow the waffle maker direction.
- NOTE: With the cream cheese in the butter and the strawberry sauce on this great waffle, you have a wonderful marriage of flavors.
